Open in App
Solution

Maximum marks in the test = 50
Marks given for each correct answer = 2

Total number of questions \(=\dfrac{\textrm{maximum marks}}{\textrm{marks awarded for each correct ansmwer}}=\dfrac{50}{2}=25 \\ \)

Marks obtained by Rony \(= 34 \)
Number of correct answers \(= \dfrac{\textrm{marks obtained}}{\textrm{marks awarded for each correct ansmwer}}=\dfrac{34}{2}=17 \)

Number of correct answers \(= 17 \\ \)
Number of wrong answers \(= 25 – 17 = 8 \\ \)
Percentage of wrong answers \(=\dfrac{8}{25} \times 100 =32\% \)
