Solution

The correct option is A 9
We have P=Rs. 1800,R=12% and T=5 years

S.I=P×R×T100

S.I=1800×12×5100

S.I=Rs.1080

Now, we have to find T with P=Rs. 1200,R=10% and S.I=Rs. 1080.
S.I=P×R×T100

1080=1200×10×T100

T=1080×1001200×10

T=9 years
