Given: p=4,q=5,u=4,v=3
To find: (p+q,u×v) will lie in which quadrant.

Putting the values of p,q,u,v in (p+q,u×v)
(4+5,4×(3))=(9,12)

We know if abscissa > 0 and
ordinate < 0, then the coordinates will lie in the IV quadrant.

Since, the value of
(p+q)=9>0 and(u×v)=(12)<0
So, it will lie in IV quadrant.
