At ω0, the reactance of the circuit is zero. At ω1, which is less than ω0, the reactance of the capacitor dominates that of the inductor. If the net impedance is R2, and the resistance is R, then cosϕ=RZ=RR2=12
ϕ=+45or45.
Since, reactance of the capacitor is dominating that of the inductor, ϕ=+45
