The correct option is A 3.33 V we assume that both diodes are conducting. then voltage at point -B, VB=0 and V=0. The current in D1 is obtained from ID1=10−05=2mA
The node equation at B is ID2+2=0−(−10)10
Which yeilds ID2=−1mA. Since this is not possible our assumption is not correct. We start again assumption that D2 is off and D1 is on. The current ID1 is given
ID1=10−(−10)15=1.33mA
and the voltage at nodes-B is VB=−10+10×1.33=+3.3V
Thus D2 is reversed biased as assumed and the final result is V=3.33V.
