Mode = L+fm - f12fm-f1-f2h
Here, L = lower limit of the modal class = 74
fm = maximum frequency = 35
f1 = frequency of pre-modal class = 28
f2 = frequency of post-tmodal class = 10
h = width of modal class = 3
Mode = 74+35-28235-28-10×3= 74+732×3= 74+0.65=74.65The modal distance travelled per litre by a moped is 74.65 km.
