(x2+2x)+3(y24y)=10
(x2+2x+1)+3(y24y+4)=10+1+12
(x+1)2+3(y2)2=3
(x+1)23+(y2)21=1
So, the centre is (1,2).

Here, a=3 and b=1
The length of the axis are 23 and 2 units.

And e=1b2a2
e=113
e=23

=2b2a=23 units
