For the equation 1x+a1x+b=1x+c, if the product of roots is zero, then the sum of roots is-

x+bxa(x+a)(x+b)=1x+c

x2+2ax+abbc+ac=0

If products of roots are 0

ab+acbc=0

a=bcb+c

Sum of roots are =2a

So, Sum =2(bcb+c)
