From the given A.P.
First term $(a) = \frac{3}{2}$
Common difference $(d) = a_{2} - a_{1} = \frac{1}{2} - \frac{3}{2} = - 1$
Hence the first term and common difference of the given A.P. is $\frac{3}{2}$ and $- 1$ respectively.
