  • The molecules having no fixed shape and volume, are highly compressible, and very low densities are termed Gases.
  • When compared to liquids and solids, a gas's voids (or distances) between its particles are extremely large. Hence, The intermolecular forces of attraction between the particles in a gas are extremely weak. As a result, gas particles are free to flow in any direction.
