α decay reaction : AZX A4Z2Y + 42He (α)
In α decay, nucleus with lower atomic number than that of the original nucleus is produced

β decay reaction : AZR AZ+1P + 01e (β)
In β decay, nucleus with higher atomic number than that of the original nucleus is produced.
Also nuclei R and P are isobars of each other.
Hence, in α or β decay reaction, Isotope of original nucleus in not produced.
