Now, we have for second order reaction,
1[A]=Kt+1[A]0
where, [A]0 and [A] are concentrated at t=0 and t=t respectively.
Now, from given data,
at t=0, 1[A]0=1m−1
⇒1[A]=Kt+1
At, t=5 min, 1[A]=2M−1
∴2=5K+1⇒K=+15
⇒1[A]=15t+1−(A)
Putting rest of the values given in the data we see that it stisfies eqn(A) so the given reaction is of second order.
