Solution

The correct option is B 1315
Given: P(A)=35,P(B)=23, A and B are independent.
To find: P(A+B)=?
Sol: As A and B are independent, P(AB)=P(A)P(B)
Now, P(A+B)=P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)
P(A+B)=P(A)+P(B)P(A)P(B)P(A+B)=35+2335×23=10+9615=1315
