The θ(theta) is mainly used as a symbol for:

• A plane angle in geometry.
• An unknown variable in trigonometry((sinθ,cosθ etc.)This you will study in 10th std).

eg: in a triangle if we don't know an angle we can represnt it using θ variable(standard notation)
