(A) At x = -1, we have 8 x (-1)3 – 7 x (-1)2 + 12 x (-1) - 13 = -8 - 7 - 12 - 13 = -40

(B) At x = 1, we have 8 x (1)3 – 7 x (1)2 + 12 x (1) - 13 = 8 - 7 + 12 - 13 = 0

(C) At x = 2, we have 8 x (2)3 – 7 x (2)2 + 12 x (2) - 13 = 64 - 28 + 24 - 13 = 47

(D) At x = -2, we have 8 x (-2)3 – 7 x (-2)2 + 12 x (-2) - 13 = -64 - 28 - 24 - 13 = -129
