Solution

Step 1: Finding the money needed to purchase chocolates and sweets:

For birthday party, i require 30 chocolates and 23 sweets, so

Cost of 1 chocolate is 15

Cost of 30 chocolates is 15×30=450

Cost of 1 sweet is 8

Cost of 23 sweets is 8×23=184

Total cost of 30 chocolates and 23 sweets is 450+184=634

Hence, the total cost of 30 chocolates and 23 sweets is 634

Hence, the money needed to purchase 30 chocolates and 23 sweets is 634

Step 2: Finding the money left:

Lost money is 100

So, Money Left is =Totalmoney-(Moneyneededforpurchasing+Moneylost)

Hence, the left money is 800-(634+100)=800-734=66
