Form the greatest and the smallest 3 digit numbers using any three different digits with the condition that digit 6 is always at the unit place.

Find the greatest and the smallest numbers:

The digits available for the formation of numbers are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9.

As it is given in the question that digit 6 is always at the unit place.

So, one of the three required digits is 6.

Now, using the different available digits and 6, the numbers formed are as follows,

The greatest number =986

And, the smallest number =106

Hence, the required greatest and smallest three-digit numbers are 986 and 106 respectively.
