Formation of nitric oxide from nitrogen and oxygen is which reaction??

Dear Student,
A combustion reaction is a reaction in which a substance reacts with oxygen gas, releasing energy in the form of light and heat. Combustion reactions must involve O2 as one reactant.
In our case N2 (nitrogen) react with O2 (oxygen) to give Nitric Acid. Hence nitrogen reacts with oxygen so it is combustion reaction.
