Equivalent capacitance between A and B

One capacitor of 3μF is parallel to three capacitor each of 3μFwhich are in series to each other.

Equivalent capacitance of three capacitors

1C=13+13+13

C=1μF

Now Let equivalent capacitance between A and B be C1.

C1=1+3

C1=4μF

Now equivalent capacitance between A and C

Here two capacitors are in series to each other and parallel to another set of two capacitors in series.

Equivalent capacitance of two capacitors in series

1C=13+13

C=1.5Ω

Let equivalent capacitance between A and C is C2.

C2=1.5+1.5

C2=3μF

Ratio of capacitance

r=C1C2

r=43
