4g NaOH×1 mol NaOH39.99g (molar mass) NaOH=0.1mol NaOH

Then find the number of molecules using Avogadro's number:

0.1 mol NaOH×6.02×1023 molecules of NaOH1 mol NaOH

=6.02×1022 molecules NaOH


(c) 6.02×1022 molecules
