Let the 4 velocities be V1,V2,V3 and V4.

V1=3×104 cm/s,

V2=4×104 cm/s,

V3=2×104 cm/s,

V4=5×104 cm/s

r.m.s velocity Vrms=V21+V22+V23+V24N

N= No. of velocities.

Vrms=9×108+16×108+4×108+25×108N

=108[9+16+4+25]4

=104544=104×3.675=36.75×103

Vrms=36.75×103 cm/sec.

Therefore, the option is B.
