Solution

The correct option is D 7,9 and 12,13

The vascular system in earthworms is closed type which means that the blood flows in closed blood vessels in these organisms. There are four pairs of tubular hearts found in earthworms :

●Two pairs of lateral hearts
●Two pairs of latero-oesophageal hearts

The lateral hearts pairs are present at- one pair located in the 7th segment and one pair in the 9th segment of the earthworm. They are responsible for connecting the ventral blood vessel with the dorsal blood vessel.

Lateral esophageal hearts are the posterior hearts pairs, one pair located in the 12th segment and one pair at the 13th segment of the earthworm. They are responsible for connecting the ventral blood vessel with the dorsal blood vessel. These are also connected with the supra-oesophageal blood vessel in the earthworm.
