Solution

The correct option is D

Riah

An irreversible change is a permanent change that cannot be undone. In an irreversible change, new substances are formed and they can only be formed when bonds are broken and new bonds are formed. So chemical changes are irreversible. On the other hand, a change in the physical properties such as shape, size, colour and state of a substance is a physical change. For example, melting of ice. We can freeze the water to get back the ice. Hence we can say that physical changes are reversible changes.
