Four whistles W, X, Y, Z when blown produce pure notes with frequencies 0.1 kHz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz respectively. Which of the above whistles produce higher and lower pitch. Are the sounds of higher and lower pitch audible to humans?

Whistle having the higher frequency produces higher pitch and that with lower frequency produces the lower pitch.

Thus whistle W produces lower pitch and Z produces higher pitch.

Human ear has an audible range of $20$ Hz to $20$ kHz i.e. human ear can hear sounds of frequency greater than $20$ Hz and lower than $20$ kHz. Thus sounds of higher and lower pitch are not audible to humans.
