Apples used on Monday $= \frac{4}{5} o f 5 = \frac{4}{5} \times 5 = 4 k g$
Remaining apples = 5-4
=1 kg
= Apples used next day $= \frac{1}{3}$ of remaining apples
$= \frac{1}{3} \times 1 k g = \frac{1}{3} k g$
So weight of apples left now
= Total apples - Apples used on Monday- Apples used next day
$= (5 - 4 - \frac{1}{3}) = \frac{15 - 12 - 1}{3}$ [taking LCM]
$= \frac{2}{3} k g$
