"Freedom is our birthright and we shall have it" was said by Bal Gangadhar Tilak. He said this in opposition to British Rule over India. The British were denying freedom to India but Tilak, through this statement, expressed the view that freedom is the birthright of all Indians and the British could not keep denying it to Indians for ever.
