Water content of fresh grapes = $90\%$ by weight of fresh grapes.

Water content of dried grapes= $20\%$ by weight of dry grapes.

Weight of fresh grapes taken= $20$ kg

Let the weight of the dried grapes be $x$ kg.

Now, since, water content of fresh grapes is $90\%$ by weight,

$\therefore$ Grape content in fresh fruits = $(100\%-90\%)\times 20=2$ kg

Also,

Grape content in dried fruits = $(100\%-20\%)\times x=0.8x$ kg

Since, dried grapes are derived/obtained from fresh grapes only, therefore, the grape content will remain same in both.

$\therefore 0.8x=20$

$\Rightarrow x=20\times \frac{100}{80}=2.5$ kg
