Solution

The correct option is B 0.686M
For buffer solution having NH4Cl=0.25M and NH4OH=0.05M

pOH=logKb+log[ConjugateAcid][Base]

pOH=log[1.8×105]+log0.250.25

[OH]=3.6×106M

Freshly precipitated Al(OH)3 Mg(OH)3 are stirred vigorously in it

[Al3+][OH]3=KspAl(OH)3

[Al3+][3.6×106]3=6×1032

[Al3+]=1.28×1015M

Similarly for Mg(OH)2:

[Mg2+][OH]2=KspMg(OH)2

[Mg2+][3.6×106]2=8.9×1012

[Mg2+]=0.686M
