Friction also depends on smoothness of the surface, even if material is same
True
False
Two objects of the same mass and material, will have same friction on a given surface.
Why friction even exists between two smooth surfaces? Why force of friction is greater if a rough surface is involved? [3 MARKS]
On one hand you say that when two smooth, even surfaces slide over each other, there is adhesion between them which causes friction. On the other you say that there is no friction between two smooth surfaces. I'm not getting.
Mark the word SMOOTH.
