The correct option is C 462 cm2 The area of the remaining sheet = Area of the original sheet - area of the circle cut out.
Area of a circle = πr2
Now, area of the original circle
= π x 142
= 227 x 14 x 14
= 22 x 2 x 14
= 616 cm2
Area of the cut out circle = π x 72
= 227 x 7 x 7
= 22 x 7
= 154 cm2
So, the area of the remaining sheet
