Area of the circle with radius 4 cm = πr² = π(4)² = 16 π cm²​ ​
Area of the circle with radius 3 cm which is removed = π(3)² = 9π cm²​
Remaining area = 16π - 9π = 7π = 7 $\times \frac{22}{7}$=22 $c{m}^2$
