The correct option is C 512
A 10×10×10 cube has 10 cubes of1×1×1cubes along its Length breadth and width each. If we remove a layer of1×1×1 cubes (the smaller cubes) ,then the new cube will have following dimension :
lngth=1011=8; breadth=1011=8; and width=1011=8.
So the number of 1×1×1 cubes in this =8×8×8=512
