Step : Finding the total area of piece of land.

Given,

Let piece of land be 1 $m^2$

Piece of land brought by Rajesh $=\frac{1}{3}$ of 1

Remaining land $=1-\frac{1}{3}$

$=\frac{3-1}{3}=\frac{2}{3}$

Land bought by Manoj $=\frac{2}{3}\times \frac{1}{3}=\frac{2}{9}$

Land unsold $=\frac{2}{3}-\frac{2}{9}$

$=\frac{6-2}{9}$

$=\frac{4}{9}$ part of land that remained unsold = 600

1 part of land that remained unsold $=600\times \frac{9}{4}$

$=1350m^2$
