The maximum circle will have

a diameter = smallest side of rectangle

$\therefore$ diameter $=20cm$

Area remaining $=(l\times b)-\left(\pi r^2\right)$

$=(30\times 20)-(\pi \times (\frac{20}{2}{)}^2)$

$=285.84c{m}^2$
