From a tap of inner radius 0.75 cm, water flows at the rate of 7 m per second. Find the volume in liters of water delivered by the pipe in one hour.

Given: The inner radius (r)=0.75 cm and rate of water flow is 7 m/s .

Volume of water flown per second =πr2l
=(227×(0.75)2×700)cm3
=1237.5 cm3
Volume of water delivered in 1 hour (3600 sec)
=1237.5×36001000 liters [1 liters=1000 cm3]
=4455 liters

Hence, the volume of water derived per hour is 4455 liters.
