Let mass per unit length of wire is m.

For wire P,
Length of wire =2πr

Mass of wire =m1=2πr×m=2πrm

Moment of Inertia =I1=12m1r21

=> I1=12×2πrm×r2

=> I1=πmr3

For wire Q,
Radius =r2=nr

Mass of wire =m1=2π×nr×m=2πnrm

Moment of Inertia =I2=12m2r22

=> I2=12×2πnrm×n2r2

=> I2=πmr3n3

Also I2=8I1

=> n3=8

=> n=2
