Cards of spades and clubs are black in colour. Cards of heart and diamonds are red in colour. In 13 cards of each suit, there are three honour cards or face cards namely Kings (K), Queens (Q) and Jacks or Knaves (J).
A well shuffled pack of cards ensures equally likely outcomes.
The 52 playing cards are classified as follows:
One card out of 52 well shuffled cards can be selected in 52C1 ways
n(S)=52
Let D be an event of getting a diamond
Then, n(D)=13
P(D)=1352=14
