Solution

REF.Image
Let the height of the opposite house be H m

In right ΔADE,

tanθ=DEAE

tanθ=HhAE

AE=Hhtanθ(1)

In right ΔACE
tanϕ=hAE

AE=htanϕ(2)

From (1) and (2),
Hhtanθ=htanϕ

Hcotθhcotθ=hcotϕ

H=h(cotθ+cotϕ)cotθ

H=h(cotθ+cotϕ)(tanθ)

H=h(1+tanθcotϕ)

Thus the height of the opposite house is h(1+tanθcotϕ)m
