Let $u, v$ and $g$ be the initial, final and velocity and $g$ be acceleration due to gravity.
$∵$ Stone is thrown vertically upward $g$ is negative.
$∴ v = u - g t = v_{0} - g t$
$∵$ Stone reaches maximum height $v = O a t t = 35$
$] ∴ O = v_{0} - 3 g ⟹ v_{0} - 3 g$
$g = 10 m / s^{2} ⟹ v_{0} = 3 \times 10$ m/s
$v_{0} = 30$ m/s
