Solution

Solution:
(i)
To calculate Ramesh’s average in the ODI series.
First of all, we have to sum up the runs scored in every match i.e.
95 + 104 + 154 + 23 + 104 = 480.
Now for average, this sum has to be divided by the total matches played i.e 5.
So, Ramesh’s average = 4805 = 96.

(ii)
Similarly for Sam’s average, we have the sum of runs as
55 + 111 + 125 + 55 + 109 = 455.
So, Sam’s average = 4555 = 91.

(iii)
Median of odd no. of observation = (n+1)/2 th term of an arranged data.
let's arrange the scores of Ramesh and Sam in ascending order.
Ramesh: 23, 95, 104,104, 154
Sam: 55, 55, 109, 111, 125
so, median of Ramesh = 104 and median of Sam is 109 (3rd term of the arranged data)

Mode of a dataset is the most frequently occuring observation from the dataset.
Ramesh: 23, 95, 104,104, 154
Sam: 55, 55, 109, 111, 125
so, Mode of Ramesh's score = 104 and of Sam score is 55.
