Solution

Let total number of students from A & B be x

So 1/2x - karatte
1/4- basketball
1/8-football
1/10- taekwondo
And 2 for horse riding

So (1/2+1/4+1/8+1/10)x = x-2
since 2 opted for horse riding total students for other games will be x-2

39x/40= x-2
39x= 40x-80
40x-39x=80

x = 80

Since A & B has equal no of students ..
StydeStu in section A will be ½of 80 = 40
