Chord of a circle : A line segment connecting two points on the circumference (boundary) of the circle is called a chord .

A chord which passes through the centre is called diameter of the circle .

Every diameter is a chord but every chord is may not be a diameter of the circle .

Hence, from figure we can say that PSandPR are the chords of the circle .
