We know that a mixture is composed of different substances which are not combined chemically and individual physical properties are retained.
A homogeneous mixture is a mixture of a single phase and hence also with uniform composition throughout. This is what separates it from a heterogeneous mixture which has multiple phases.
A homogeneous mixture would have the chemical properties of its components retained as does any mixture but the physical properties are not retained. There is usually a deviation from those of the components. So, uniform composition - check. - 1
multiple phases - no
chemically combined - no
often mechanically separable - check - 4
single phase - check - 5
Physical and chemical properties retained - no
only chemical properties retained - check - 7
Chemical properties retained, physical properties may be retained. - no
