The correct option is C 1:2

Let O(5,y) divide AB in the ratio k:1.

By section formula, the coordinates of O are given by: (9k+3k+1,4k+4k+1)

But O(5,y)=(9k+3k+1,4k+4k+1) 9k+3k+1=5

9k+3 = 5k+5
4k = 2
k = 12

i.e., the line x = 5 divides AB in the ratio 1:2.
