In ΔACB
AC = AB
ACB=ABC .. (i)
[Angles opposite to equal sides are equal]
ACD+ACB=180 .. (ii) [Straight Angle]
ABC+CBE=180 ..(iii)
[Straight Angle]

Equating (ii) and (iii),
ACD+ACB=ABC+CBE
ACD+ABC=ABC+CBE [From (i)]
ACD=CBE
