H2O2 acts as an oxidising as well as reducing agent, because oxidation number of oxygen inH2O2 is -1. So, it can be oxidised to oxidation state 0 or reduced to oxidation state -2.
H2O2 decomposes on exposure to light. So, it has to be stored in plastic or wax lined glass bottles in dark for the prevention of exposure. It also has to be kept away from dust
