Solution

The correct option is B Saturday
Quantity sold on Friday:
Weight of wheat = 4 kg 200 g
Weight of rice = 4 kg 100 g

Total quantity sold = Weight of wheat + Weight of rice

Adding the like terms separately, we see:

On Friday, the total quantity sold
= 8 kg 300 g

Quantity sold on Saturday:
Weight of wheat = 5 kg 300 g
Weight of rice = 3 kg 600 g

Total quantity sold = Weight of wheat + Weight of rice

Adding the like terms separately, we see:

On Saturday, the total quantity sold
= 8 kg 900 g
On comparing the two quantities, we observe:

So, the shopkeeper sold the maximum amount on Saturday.
