(a) Clouds: They receive water from the water bodies. The water from water bodies evaporates and rises into the atmosphere as water vapours. It condenses into millions of tiny droplets that form clouds. In clouds, water is present in liquid form as tiny droplets.
(b) Plants: They absorb water from the soil with the help of roots. This water is in liquid form.
(c) Mountain tops: They receive water from the atmosphere through precipitation. The mountain tops are covered with snow, hence water is present in solid form.
(d) Aquifer: This is the water present below the earth surface (groundwater). It receives water from the rain. A part of rainwater seeps into the ground through the soil and collects over the non-porous rocks. Hence, the water is in liquid form.
(e) Animals: They receive water from water bodies like rivers, lakes, ponds. Hence, the water is in liquid form.
