Open in App
Solution

Dear Student, Striated muscles are cylindrical, unbranched, multinucleate and voluntary. They contract rapidly and soon undergo fatigue. Striated muscles are made of two kinds of protein fibres namely actin and myosin. Thick myosin fibres and thin actin fibres are arranged alternatively and give the muscles a striated appearance.
