Solution

The correct option is C Asexual spores and fruiting bodies

Fungi imperfecti/Deuteromycota are called so because of imperfect or no knowledge about the sexual life stage. The traditional scheme of classification of fungi is based on the spores produced between the sexual stage of life cycle. But this scheme is not applicable in the case of Deuteromycota as their sexual life cycle is not know. Hence they are classified as one class(Deuteromycetes) and four orders. The classification of orders is based on the asexual spores and fruiting bodies(conidia) produced by the hyphal cells.
